Well, right now I'm suppose to be writing my clinical letter to St. Mary's (a letter I have to write introducing myself for my first clinical internship). And as usual, I'm procrastinating.
The letter is for my professional issues class. The class is super easy... we go over what it is to be professional, look at state practice laws, go over the rules of the facility we are going to be interning with, and do all our required training (osha, cpr, and hipaa). However, the class terrifies me. Every Tuesday while I'm in there I have to come to the realization that my first internship starts in August! I don't feel prepared at all. I worry that I'm going to give someone bad treatment, fail to meet my advisor's expectations, and well....just down right fail.
I know that I'm probably over-thinking the whole thing and just need to relax. I tend to get apprehensive about the "unknown", and I know that I'm a good student but a good PT? ....I have no idea.

There is no need to worry. You always get everything done that you need to. And don't worry about being a good PT...think of it this way. Everything in life that you have set your mind to you have been good at and successful with. Why would a PT be any different? You are a kind, prepared, motivated and loving person that's what your patients will see! That's what they will need. So stop procrastinating you know you will be the best.
:) thanks bear!
